The Ultimate Morning Weight Loss Routine !

Head_shot_poolOK here is a simple routine that you can adapt now to shake and strip your self healthy.

So many of us get going in our day and the eating goes right out the window.As you day gets going you get busy, hungry, blood sugar dips , and it snowballs out of control.

So this routine is going to arm you fro the day by hydrating you and loading you up on nutrition for the road  ahead.

I use ingredients that you can find @ Whole foods or on line.

Ok here is the plan , just try it don't judge it . The secret to this plan is plenty of good fats , fiber, phyto nutrients, protein, as  well as probiotics . Together they  stimulate your metabolism, burn fat, and load your system with good flora so your on your way to proper gut ecology ,which is the foundation to all digestive and metabolic health.


1. Drink 20 ounces of water before getting out of bed.That's right have water sitting by your bed and before you even touch the ground in the morning you have water in you. This will stimulate your digestion immediately and get things moving.

Now go shower , pee , whatever you do in the morning and make your way to the kitchen skipping the coffee for now , maybe even forever.

2. Morning Strip Shake :

Just throw the following ingredients in a blender not particular order and blend . Super easy Super fast.

  • Kombucha by Synergy  “  Cosmic Cranberry “ 6oz
  • Protein Powder One scoop or 15 grams . Any quality low carb brand is fine . I provided you a link as well.
  • Udo’s oil , By Flora 3,6,9, Blend : 2 tbs
  • Udo’s choice “ Fast Food Blend “ , by Flora 1 large tbs
  • Udo’d choice Super greens 1 tbs

EXTRA : Blue berries frozen small handful * if you can do with out them go for it .

  • Add Ice if you like  for texture and temperature experiment to find desired amount.

Tip : Now I have my clients make a large fat burning lemonade Master Cleanse energy drink and take it out the door with them to sip on till lunch.


3. Fat Burning Lemonade

1 to 2 tsp’s a day in 32 ounces of water with a fresh squeezed lemon and a shake of cayenne pepper.

Extra Tip : Use 2 tsp’s of the Fat Burning lemonade in 6 ounces of water 30 minutes before each workout or a cardio session to maximize your energy and fat burning !

If your hungry before lunch just take a small baggie  of raw almonds, organic raisins,  and raw sunflower seed mix with you to munch on.

For lunch have a big vegetable salad with avocado and seeds . Before you know it your day is filled with nutrition which will motivate you to have a healthy dinner  Then your on a roll and feeling great .

I am telling you it's all about consistency and routine when it comes to nutrition.

Protein and More - Featured Product: Nutrition Complete

Gjr_on_beach_2I thought I would do a post on supplements today, because with almost every order for our inquiry about our new product, Nutritional Complete, people are asking, “is this protein?" and  “why did you remove protein from the title?"...

Well, before I get into it, let me thank you for all the responses and positive feedback about our new product.

I removed the word 'protein' from the title / name of the new product for two main reasons.  Let me explain:

  • First off, YES, there is protein in this product!  Moreover, the processing and quality of this protein is the finest in the world. (Note: there are some crappy proteins for sale out there - please research them if you are considering buying them). So, again, there is protein, but there is a lot more than just protein in Nutrition Complete.
    More specifically, whey protein this product is not. It contains whey protein and whey protein is a great thing - high quality whey is tremendous - but it’s not enough. We need more, more, more.  I have added so many incredible / quality ingredients to Nutritional Complete that if you really do the homework and research my product you will be as proud of and excited by it as I am.
     
  • Second, I find that women frequently associate protein powder with weight gain and this could not be further from the truth. Protein constitutes the building blocks of our bodies and helps restore our bodies from the cellular level up, as well as increase lean muscle.  Women: bottom line - this means fat burning, not body building.

Maca Power!!!

Macaroot02The coolest thing about Real Raw Live is we have this giant bar made of bamboo, must be 50 ft long, and I love just hanging behind the bar and answering questions about our very progressive and healing  menu.
I thought it would be helpful to post  some of our unique items and break them down for you.
One I get asked about constantly is my Pure Maca 7000.

Maca is an ancient multi nutrient rich vegetable found in the Andes Mountains. It has raditionally been grown at very high altitudes and only has grown well in very cold climates with relatively poor soil.  Attempts have been made to cultivate it outside the Andes, but the same constituents and potency have not yet been achieved.  The growth habit, size, and proportions of the maca are roughly similar to those of a radish or turnip - vegetables to which it is related. When it is growing, the stem is short and lies along the ground, with only the tips curling up.

My Philosophy of Food

Food is addictive, and I love that it is. 

You’ve got to be excited by the important, basic things in life.
     The key to living well, though, is to learn to be addicted to the right things: good food, not garbage.  The problem is, everybody associates a diet with trauma, because diets always seem to focus on what you can’t eat.  That’s wrong stop it !!  You should take out the negatives.  Your diet should be about what you can eat.  You should be in love with what you can eat.
     Food presents you with an opportunity to get in touch with yourself, and your health, and your happiness. You should use it to connect you to your life.  This is your life, and your body, and you’ve made it your choice to be here.  You can use food to take you away from this life of yours, or you can use it to put you into your life.  It all depends on how you choose to relate to food.
     Unfortunately, a lot of people develop close, intimate relationships with foods that just don’t serve them.  They eat foods that are harmful on a hormonal level, a glycemic level, a nutrient level, and an energy level.
     You’ve got to figure out what kind of food serves you, and what kind doesn’t.  When you do this, you’ll discover the power of food.  You’ll get addicted to eating smart. Every part of your life will change: your energy levels, your brain power, your looks, your physical strength, and even your personal relationships.
     Anybody can eat smart.  Eating smart is just common sense.  It’s so simple.
     You mostly just have to be conscious while you eat.  If you’re conscious, you’ll usually eat the right things.  Being conscious while you eat is just as important as being conscious while you exercise.  Most self-destructive eating is unconscious eating.  Escape eating.  Withdrawal eating.  It’s just sitting in front of a TV and shoveling it in.
     People say, “Oh, I just naturally space-out while I eat – I can’t help it.”
     Yes you can.
     You’re choosing to be that way.  Just take a baby-beat of time, and tune in.  Connect to your body.  Your life.  Your food.  Ask yourself: Is this serving me, or not?

The answer’s right there.
    
And if you listen to that answer, you will eat smart.  And your body will change.  And your life will change.

Vegetables Power Food is Fuel.  If you read this blog, over time, you will learn how to fuel yourself like a race car or a bulldozer or a tank - something big, strong and powerful.  Don't worry, your food will still taste great and you won't feel hungry - you will be surprised by how quickly you can pick up good habits.
