Happy Halloween!

1806566268_063fb612b3_mHappy Halloween everyone!

Let the sugar train begin!!!  This, unfortunately, is the kick off of the big, white, sugar marathon, so to speak.  The treats begin today, and then roll their way to Thanksgiving, then to all of the holiday parties, Christmas, and New Years Eve.  Gosh, before you blink the ride has lasted 5 weeks!  Now this is the real definition of the flu and cold season, because all your immunity and natural defense mechanisms are completely depleted and wide open for sickness.

So what do we do?

First of all, let's back up.  It's not January, it is October; so let's get prepared now.  Instead of a ride for five weeks, make it a climb for five weeks.  Don't coast through the Holidays, be proactive!

Here is a sure fire list to get you through OK:

1.  Eat well in between all your parties and events.
2.  Take a daily probiotic supplement and super green formula.
3.  Take E-3 live daily.
4.  Eat as many green leaf vegetables as possible.  Steam with lemon.
5.  Exercise more than ever.  Climb that mountain!
6.  Get to bed early when possible.
7.  Eat a normal meal before you go out, so you go to that party full.
8.  Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water each day, room temperature.
9.  Wash your hands as much as possible.
10.  When in doubt, enjoy the moment!  Life should be fun, too.

This also goes for Halloween.  My son is four and he is soooooo excited.  But really, for him it's about the event, the costume, and not eating all the candy.  I am very fortunate that way so far.  But, he is only four so I am setting those foundations and habits the best I can.

Anyway, we have a rule before we start that after we are done we will sort through the candy and he can pick three of his favorite and devour.  Note, he already had a party @ school with treats so 3 is plenty!  Then the next day he can have 2 if he eats all his other regular food.  Then, I really try to call it quits.  Maybe we have can have an occasional one if he is a very good boy.  I love my son, of course, but I am his father first and boundaries have to be clear so we can get on and enjoy the time together.

Hope that helps..........

Anyway, my One Body One Life family!  From mine to yours, have a safe Halloween!!!

All the Best in Health!
